Information

Jana Klicnarová specializes in theoretical and applied statistics and operations research. Her scientific work has long focused on the development of nonparametric statistical methods, martingale approximations, and U-statistics theory. She applies these tools to solve complex analytical problems in economics, social sciences, and natural sciences.

Her research activities are supported by a number of national and international grants. Within the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR), she served as the principal investigator of a project focused on martingale approximations and U-statistics (GA P201/11/P164). She also collaborates on projects in modern econometrics and the development of new non-parametric tools for data analysis (GA24-10078S, GA17-07384S).

As part of international cooperation in the Visegrad Four countries (Visegrad Fund), she participated in projects addressing the preparedness of small and medium-sized enterprises for stress management (ID22310003) and the analysis of the impacts of population aging in the V4 region (ID22010034).

A significant part of her work consists of methodological support and statistical data processing for the application sphere and related scientific fields:

For example, statistical evaluation of data within projects in cooperation with the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Protection of the University of South Bohemia or analysis of specific biological data; cooperation with the České Budějovice Hospital.
