The University of South Bohemia Analyzed Student and Staff Mobility – More Accessible and Faster Transportation Is Key

Last year, the University of South Bohemia, along with 11 other universities in the Czech Republic, participated in a survey focused on student and staff mobility. More than 1,370 respondents, including students and staff, participated in the survey at the University of South Bohemia.

The report was prepared with support from the NPO project “Support for Green Skills and Sustainability – JU.” The University of South Bohemia will use the results of the analysis as a basis for strategic mobility management and sustainability development.

Students at the Faculty of Arts at the University of South Bohemia have dedicated an entire issue of their magazine to the topic of sustainability

The latest issue of M.O.S.T., a magazine published regularly under the auspices of the Faculty of Arts at the University of South Bohemia, is dedicated to the topic of sustainability.

In the magazine, students address issues such as the environmental impact of air travel, but they also focus on public spaces in the city and are not afraid to highlight practices and solutions that are not always sustainable.

This issue of the journal, dedicated to sustainability, was supported by the University of South Bohemia’s Strategic Priorities Fund.

Sustainability is no longer a dirty word

A responsible approach to society, business ethics, and greater protection during economic and social crises. These are the main benefits of sustainability in the day-to-day operations of both the business and non-business sectors, according to a recent survey by the Association for Social Responsibility. Most of the roughly 200 organizations surveyed plan to expand their activities even further over the next two years.
