• 1998–2005 Charles University, Protestant Theological Faculty: postgraduate studies in biblical theology (Old Testament), Ph.D. in 2005.
• 1995–96 Institute of Holy Land Studies / Jerusalem University College, Jerusalem, Israel: one year study program in biblical Hebrew and Old Testament exegesis.
• 1990–95 Charles University, Hussite Theological Faculty: Bc. (bachelor’s degree) in 1993, Mgr. (master’s degree) in 1995; major in comparative religion and Jewish studies.
