We commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science – many talented female scientists work at USB across various fields

"Gender stereotypes drive women away from scientific fields. It’s time to recognize that more diversity means more innovation," stated the UN Secretary-General António Guterres on February 11th, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day, proclaimed by the UN in 2015, aims to highlight the crucial role of women in the scientific world and support their contributions to research. The University of South Bohemia is a proud home to many successful female scientists across a wide range of disciplines. We selected four of them and asked them three survey questions.
