On Thursday, 21st September 2023, the celebration of thirty years of the establishment of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic took place in the Municipal House in Prague. Among the distinguished guests were the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil, the Minister of Agriculture Marek Výborný, the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Marian Jurečka and many other distinguished guests from the state and private sector participated in the event. The festive programme was accompanied by the musical singer Heidi Janků. Bohumil Jiroušek, Rector of the University of South Bohemia, and Petr Bartoš, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, attended the celebrations on behalf of the University of South Bohemia.
During the celebrations, the President of the Agrarian Chamber Jan Doležal presented awards to important collaborators and partners of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic. Among the awardees was the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (JU) for its significant contribution to Czech agriculture.
