Upon the proposal of the scientific and artistic boards of universities, the President of the Republic Petr Pavel appointed a total of 93 new professors and on Wednesday 21 June 2023 personally presented 87 of them with their appointment decrees in the Grand Hall of the Karolinum in Prague. Among them were two professors who were appointed on the proposal of the Scientific Board of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (SB USB) and two others who are active at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (USB).
