Dean of the Faculty of Arts was appointed Professor in the field of Romance Languages

The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Petr Gazdík, presented the appointment decrees to the new professors today in Karolinum. They were appointed by the President of the Republic, Miloš Zeman, on Tuesday 7 June 2022 upon the proposals of the scientific and artistic boards of universities.

The current Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice prof. Ondřej Pešek, PhD, who was appointed upon a proposal from the Scientific Board of Charles University in the field of Romance Languages, is among the 83 newly appointed professors.

At the same time, an appointment decree was also received today by prof. Alexander William BRUCE, B.Sc., Ph.D., upon a proposal from the Scientific Board of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in the field of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Genetics.
