Rector’s Cup Run 2025: Congratulations to all runners and thank you to our medical staff

Congratulations to the winners and to all runners! The university running club PushRun trained throughout the entire year, and their hard work paid off. USB students achieved excellent times in the streets of České Budějovice.
We would also like to thank the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences for their excellent representation of our university. At the 13th Mattoni Running Festival České Budějovice, our paramedic students, general nurses, physiotherapists, and teachers were present. They were active on the course, at the start, and at the finish line. On Přemysl Otakar II Square, there was a faculty booth offering professional advice on a healthy lifestyle, where nursing students measured visitors’ blood pressure and body fat percentage. A total of 36 students provided medical service at nine stations along the course during the main race. Four future paramedics patrolled the course by bicycle, each responsible for their own section and ready to respond to acute cases, and six students were stationed at the start and finish. Six future physiotherapists provided recovery massages of the lower limbs in the athlete zone on the square. USB thanks everyone for their professionalism and commitment!
