On 8th September, 2020 the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice Prof. Bohumil Jiroušek and the president of the National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan, Dr. Sea-Fue Wang signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
During this ceremonial event, both universities also concluded a Contract on student exchange mobility. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the official ceremony was organised online with live broadcast. Also Assoc. Prof Radka Závodská, Vice-Rector for International Relations took part in this exceptional event. Both universities agreed that the signature represents a significant step for the development of further cooperation, for example in the field of joined study programmes such as double degree diplomas.
