On Friday 28 October we commemorated the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak state. The Vice-Rector of the University of South Bohemia Ing. Michal Hojdekr, MBA, paid tribute to the victims of the First and Second World Wars by laying a bouquet at the monument located near the University of South Bohemia. The monument was unveiled in 1920 and symbolizes the establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia in all dimensions.
