Dear colleagues, friends, dear participants.

I am pleased to invite you to the conference “New Trends in bioScience 3 – History, Traditions and Innovative Approaches”, organized by the Faculty of Science at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice from October 6–8, 2025, reflects the university’s active involvement in the KreativEU consortium. Its mission is to foster scientific innovation while honoring academic tradition and cultural heritage.

The event is primarily intended broader scientific community as well as for Master's and doctoral universities’ students. Through lectures by leading national and international experts, poster sessions, and networking opportunities, the conference promotes the exchange of knowledge, enhances student mobility, and strengthens international collaboration.

By connecting cutting-edge research with cultural and historical legacy, the conference emphasizes the responsibility of science to serve humanity— just as Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen decided 130 years ago not to patent his discovery of X-rays (in 1895) so that everyone could benefit from it. In this spirit, the event aims to inspire open scientific exchange and celebrate the values that bridge innovation and tradition.

This prestigious event will bring together leading experts from around the globe, offering insightful presentations, discussions on the latest advancements, and unparalleled networking opportunities. Participants could also earn 3 ECTS credits for study (there is study subject in the university system marked UCH/948 Advances in Science), and abstracts will be published in a special issue of Bulletin of Czech and Slovak Crystallographic - MATERIALS STRUCTURE in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Technology (ISSN 1211 – 5894 (print), ISSN 1805 – 4382 (online)).
