Field of expertise

My area of expertise is the systematics of higher vascular plants, particularly ferns and lycopods. I am interested in their phylogeny, biology, cytogeography, cytogenetics and ecophysiology. But I also do horticulture, floral design and decorative floristry, which are all really important parts of my work.

Teaching

I teach the introductory course Botany, the specialised course Biology of Ferns, and courses in the field of Biology and Conservation of Organisms of Special Interest at the Department of Botany.
