Země živitelka 2026: The University of South Bohemia will present technological innovations and its own products

In the spirit of this year's agricultural show subtitle, "Innovations in Every Field", the University of South Bohemia will present progress in the development of modern agricultural technologies. The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology and the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters will have their traditional representation at this major agricultural and food event in our region. Visitors to the university's stand in pavilion R3 can look forward to a tasting of products created in the workshops of these faculties.

The program will be complemented by presentations of modern systems developed by experts from the University of South Bohemia, as well as topics focused on sustainable management of soil, water, and the landscape. The protection of natural resources and sustainability are key priorities at the University of South Bohemia.

The international agricultural exhibition Země živitelka allows us to present important topics that drive the University of South Bohemia, as well as the development of cutting-edge technologies involving our scientists, to both professionals and the general public. Traditionally, we will offer visitors a taste of products made directly at our faculties – such as traditional "pikador" sausages, goulash soup, and Čtyrák beer from our university microbrewery. Fish products, honey, and hawthorn vinegar will also be available. You can find the University of South Bohemia stand in pavilion R3 from August 20 to August 25.
