Since the start of the new academic year, the University of South Bohemia’s athletes have been representing their school in a unified clothing collection. The South Bohemian company Bespo has created designs in the university’s colors for the representatives of all its sports teams.
“Uniform apparel is the first step in raising the profile of university sport. I am very pleased that you are actively embracing it and representing our university. Above all, enjoy it in good health,” Rector Pavel Kozák of the University of South Bohemia told all the university’s athletes at the presentation of the new collection.
“We are delighted to have established a partnership with the University of South Bohemia, which ranks among the most significant educational institutions in the country. Together, we have created a new university collection in its characteristic colors. We are proud to be part of a project that combines high-quality design, local production, and pride in the South Bohemian Region,” commented Tadeáš Bečvář of Bespo on the collaboration.
In the university league, the teams traditionally representing the University of South Bohemia are men’s floorball, men’s basketball, men’s futsal, men’s football, and women’s volleyball. From this season onwards, two more teams have been added to the league: men’s volleyball and women’s floorball.
“We would like to thank the coaches and student leaders who help organize the teams, as well as the university’s administration for their excellent support,” added Radek Vobr from the Department of Physical Education and Sport at the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia.
