University of South Bohemia has financially supported Ternopil National Medical University

The Board of the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice decided at its meeting on 28 February 2023 to make a financial donation of CZK 100 000 from the USB's own resources to the Ternopil National Medical University as part of the commemoration of the year of the war in Ukraine. This sum was transferred to the account abroad today.

The support was requested by the Rector of Ternopil National Medical University I. Horbaczewski (TDMU) Dr. Mykhaylo Korda, who turned to international partner universities, including the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, a few days ago with a request for help. Their volunteer centre (https://vc.tdmu.edu.ua/) is struggling with a lack of medical supplies, sanitary materials and food.
