The University of South Bohemia ranks 54th in the world in marine and freshwater biology research

The University of South Bohemia ranks among the world's top 100 in marine and freshwater biology research. In the latest subject ranking of the U.S. News Best Global Universities, it placed 54th in the world and first among Czech universities.

With this result, the university has built on its 88th and 64th places in the previous two editions of the ranking, confirming the long-term growth in the international visibility of its research in Marine and Freshwater Biology.

The ranking evaluates universities' research performance and reputation based on publication and citation indicators, the representation of highly cited papers, and international collaboration.
