The representatives of the University of South Bohemia participated last week at the presentation of the South Bohemian region at the embassy of the Czech Republic in Paris.
The rector of the University of South Bohemia Tomáš Machula, the vice-rector for international relations Radka Závodská, the dean of the Faculty of Arts Ondřej Pešek, employee of the International office Caroline Zoubek and two students of the Faculty of Arts participated last week at the presentation of the region of South Bohemia at the embassy of Czech Republic in Paris in France. The delegation was composed of representants of cultural and educational organisations and deputies of the regional council of South Bohemia, headed by the President of the region, Mrs Ivana Stráská and the representatives of the University of South Bohemia.
During the event, many seminars on cultural and education life in South Bohemia were held.
It was also the opportunity to meet partners in Paris, for example colleagues from the Czech centre or Sorbonne University.
