The Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Pavel Kozák, and the Director of the South Bohemian Theatre, Martina Schlegelová, have signed a memorandum of cooperation that establishes a long-term framework for joint activities between the two institutions. The partnership will focus on connecting the academic, scientific, educational, cultural and artistic communities through joint projects, public events, the sharing of expertise, and support for professional and creative development. The memorandum also opens up new opportunities for involving students in the cultural life of the region, supports the popularisation of science, and strengthens cooperation in the development of cultural heritage and interdisciplinary activities. As an associated partner of the Kreativ EU alliance of European universities, the South Bohemian Theatre will, in cooperation with the University of South Bohemia, contribute to fulfilling the alliance's mission in the field of cultural heritage.
Both institutions thus confirm their shared commitment to contributing to the development of education, culture and public life in South Bohemia.
