The sustainable university: USB once again joins the European Sustainable Development Week

Every good steward knows that one should manage their estate in such a way that even their children can make a living from it. Sustainability, as one of the key development themes at the University of South Bohemia, will permeate the entire week beginning on September 20. For the third time, the University of South Bohemia will join the Europe-wide ETUR festival (European Sustainable Development Week). Across its faculties, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, seminars, film screenings, community gatherings, open days, and many other activities will be held. The range of events is vast, with a single aim: to show that we care about the future of the world we live in. European Sustainable Development Week takes place every year from September 20 to 26. However, to extend the timeframe, all sustainability events occurring between September 18 and October 8 are registered under ETUR. You can find more information about ETUR and other events on the festival’s website HERE.

The programme we have prepared at the University of South Bohemia can be found HERE.
