The partnership between the University of South Bohemia and Emil's Sports will support sports for people with disabilities

Rector of the University of South Bohemia, Pavel Kozák, and chairman of Emil's Sports, z.s., Pavel Zbožínek, signed a memorandum of cooperation focusing on supporting sports and physical activities for children and young people with disabilities or specific needs. The partnership is not entirely new, as the university previously participated in volunteering at the prestigious V4 Winter Games Emil Open. Students of the University will continue to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of inclusive sports and gain valuable experience. The university will also participate in research and analysis of conditions for athletes with disabilities in the South Bohemia region through student work and projects.

"The University of South Bohemia supports athletes and sports in general, not just elite sports, but sports for everyone. Deepening cooperation with Emil makes great sense for us because sports should genuinely reach everyone, including young athletes with disabilities," said the Rector of the University of South Bohemia, Pavel Kozák.

"This cooperation is a significant step in connecting the academic sphere with practice. It will allow students to gain valuable experience while improving conditions for sports for people with disabilities in the region," said Pavel Zbožínek.
