The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation from the Republic of Montenegro visited the Faculty of Education at the University of South Bohemia

The Rector of the University of South Bohemia, Prof. Ing. Pavel Kozák, Ph.D., together with the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Helena Koldová, Ph.D., welcomed a distinguished guest from the Republic of Montenegro – the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Andjela Jakšić Stojanović – on Friday, June 20, 2025, in the Miroslav Papáček Auditorium. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic was represented by the Deputy Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, PhDr. Pavel Doleček, Ph.D. The meeting took place on the basis of a previously signed memorandum of cooperation between the Faculty of Education at the University of South Bohemia and higher education institutions in Montenegro, specifically in Cetinje and Podgorica.

Prof. PhDr. Miloš Zelenka, DrSc., Head of the Department of Slavic Languages and Literature at the Faculty of Education, spoke at the Friday meeting about the specific cooperation, during which approximately fifty students from Montenegrin faculties participated in a free intensive Czech language and culture course at the Faculty of Montenegrin Language in Cetinje, the Faculty of Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Philology in Podgorica.

The important event was also attended by representatives of the Dean’s College of the Faculty of Education, together with female students who taught Czech in Montenegro as part of the cooperation and who had the opportunity to share their insights and impressions from the entire stay.
