On 14-15 November 2025, the third edition of the conference From the Depths; Ways out of the Unconscious through the Eyes of Psychology and Expressive Approaches took place at the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. Its traditional focus is on the search for how to enrich one's own life through deeper contact with oneself and through expressive disciplines; this year's subtitle focused on the shadow sides of one's own experience. The conference creates a space for the academic world to meet the world of practice (speakers, lecturers, and participants include academics and students as well as practitioners), so both sides of the encounter can be enriched. The conference is also unique in the large number of workshops in which participants can try out specific approaches live. Many participants return regularly and appreciate the kind atmosphere that accompanies the conference.
