The British Centre of the USB has been rated "Excellent"

In November 2025, an inspection from Cambridge English Language Assessment, part of the University of Cambridge, awarded the British Centre of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice the Excellent mark. This is the highest possible award an organiser of internationally recognised Cambridge language examinations can receive. This rating testifies to the high professionalism of the British Centre's staff and examiners and confirms the quality of the examinations held at the British Centre.

The British Centre of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice was founded in 1992. Its activities are aimed at promoting and deepening language education with an emphasis on the English language. Thousands of visitors a year visit the British Centre's library, language courses, lectures, seminars, take the University of Cambridge International Examinations and test their language skills.
