On March 5, 2026, the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic held a meeting at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The main topic was the upcoming election of the chairman of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic. The current chairman, Ing. Jan Doležal, took this opportunity to evaluate his work to date and to present the direction for the organization's further development in the event of his re-election.
The meeting also included a discussion on current and future cooperation between the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of USB. The morning program took place in the newly renovated pavilion M.
This meeting was seamlessly followed by the XXIV edition of the "Managerial, Marketing and Commercial Forum for Farmers, Food Producers, Rural Areas, Trade, Services, Banking and Insurance of the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region," which was held in pavilion ZR. The event was attended by approximately 130 participants, mainly from the agriculture and food industries, including several faculty alumni.
The forum program included expert seminars, discussions, and tours of selected workplaces of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology and the University of South Bohemia. The meeting also provided an opportunity to share experiences among experts from practice, academia, and related sectors.
The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of USB appreciates that this traditional professional event could be held on its premises and thanks the organizers and participants for the pleasant and inspiring atmosphere.
