President Petr Pavel appointed 93 new professors at the Great Hall of the Carolinum. The highest academic title was awarded to individuals who fulfilled all the required professional and qualification criteria. The appointment represents recognition of their long-term work, professional contribution, and significant role in the development of individual fields and the academic environment. The following were appointed on the nomination of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice:

doc. Ing. Martin PŠENIČKA, Ph.D. – in the field of: Fishery
