At the University of South Bohemia, we are passionate about cycling, which is why we have formed a partnership that makes it even more accessible. The cooperation between the University of South Bohemia and the traditional Czech bicycle manufacturer Leader Fox, signed by USB Rector Pavel Kozák and BOHEMIA BIKE a.s. Managing Director Pavel Müller, paves the way for USB students and staff to enjoy tangible benefits and opportunities in cycling. Leader Fox, the České Budějovice–based bicycle and e-bike manufacturer, will grant all USB students, employees, and alumni a 7% year-round discount on bicycle and e-bike rentals/loans as part of its test-center offerings. A 15% discount is also available to every student, staff member, and alumnus on the purchase of a bicycle priced over CZK 35,000.
Leader Fox will also donate bicycles to our university as prizes for the traditional cycling challenge, which we will launch again at USB in the summer semester of 2026. We believe that all cycling enthusiasts at USB are already looking forward to it, and for those who are on the fence, this new partnership might serve as an interesting motivation.
