Nearly forty athletes from the University of South Bohemia registered for the Czech Academic Games

Students will compete for medals and the titles of Academic Champions in South Moravia from 21 to 26 June 2026. The 24th annual Czech Academic Games will be hosted by Brno University of Technology. Among the competitors will also be Czech national representatives, participants in the World University Games, the Academic World Championships, and the European University Games. They will compete in 21 sports.

The University of South Bohemia will send 37 individual athletes to this year's Czech Academic Games. This is a record increase compared to last year, when there were fewer than ten. To systematically support sport, the University of South Bohemia established the Council for a Healthy Lifestyle and Physical Activities. It supports not only athletes and physical activity within the university environment, but also contributes to the prevention of health and psychosocial risks among students and staff.

Representing the university at the Czech Academic Games is not just about medals, but also about a great atmosphere and shared experiences with fellow students from across the country.
