Rector of the University of South Bohemia Pavel Kozák signed a memorandum on cooperation with the Chairman of the Czech Statistical Office Marek Rojíček. They agreed on a joint approach in education and student internships. The students will have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain valuable experience. The CSO will provide them with expert guidance and support. USB and CSO also agreed to a staff exchange that will allow CSO experts to teach at the University of South Bohemia, while USB academic staff will have the opportunity to work with the CSO on specific projects and initiatives. Both parties will cooperate in organising seminars, workshops, and conferences, sharing expertise and experience in training programmes that will lead to the desired development of human resources. The University will work with the Czech Statistical Office to identify topics and areas where they can combine their expertise. The results of the cooperation can be applied in practice.
The signing of the Memorandum was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the USB Zuzana Dvořáková Líšková, and the Director of the Regional Administration of the Czech Statistical Office in České Budějovice Alena Bendová.
