On 9 February 2023, the President of the University of Passau, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bartosch, together with the Vice President for International and Diversity Affairs, Prof. Dr. Christine Hansen and Prof. Dr. Thomas Wünsch from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Passau, discussed the possibilities of developing mutual cooperation with the management of the University of South Bohemia. During the meeting, they also visited the microbrewery of the USB Faculty of Agriculture and Technology and the USB Academic Library.
The joint meeting, which should be followed by a roundtable discussion on specific topics relevant to both universities in the autumn, covered, among other things, cross-border cooperation, sustainability, information technology, artificial intelligence issues and, in particular, further deepening of current cooperation in applied research and the humanities and social sciences.
