Female futsal players fought for qualification to the Czech Academic Games

The women's futsal team of the University of South Bohemia has completed its qualification matches for the Czech Academic Games. Although the team was unable to advance to the main competition despite great effort, the team's performance was very promising.

In the individual matches, our players proved to be an equal, and often even dominant, partner to their opponents. The team managed to create a significant number of scoring opportunities in every game; however, these unfortunately could not be converted into the necessary goals. It was ultimately the lower finishing efficiency that cost the players a better result.

This experience, however, serves as motivation for the futsal team going forward. The team has demonstrated great potential and the players are eager to continue working on their collective development. Regular training and a series of friendly matches throughout the year are now planned, so that they can begin next season at full strength.
