Erasmus Days at USB showcased opportunities for studying and interning abroad

On 12–17 October 2026, the University of South Bohemia took part in the Europe-wide Erasmus Days initiative. Over the course of the week, students and staff could learn about study exchanges, work placements, and other international experiences, hear the stories of mobility participants, and get practical information about going abroad.
The programme across the university included lectures, experience-sharing sessions, information stands, and informal meetings. At the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, students presented their exchanges and placements in five countries. The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology prepared an information stand with a competition. The Faculty of Science invited interested participants to the "Your Step into the World" programme, and the Faculty of Education organised the meeting "Unlock the World with Erasmus." At the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, students shared their experiences of study exchanges and placements abroad during the event "GO • EXPERIENCE • SHARE." The Faculty of Arts took part with the event "Set Off into the World," and the Faculty of Theology presented a project of international cooperation in the programme "Erasmus+ Project in Zambia – Our Success Story!"
Erasmus Days thus once again showed that international mobility is not only an opportunity for study and professional development, but also a path to new experiences, contacts, and greater open-mindedness. We thank all the faculties, organisers, and participants who contributed to this year's programme.
