Czech-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of science, research, technology, and innovation - the rector of the University of South Bohemia, Pavel Kozák, signed a memorandum with Vietnamese universities

Representatives of Ton Duc Thang University and other Vietnamese universities visited the University of South Bohemia to negotiate the expansion of existing cooperation and the content of a memorandum, which was subsequently signed by the Rector of the University of South Bohemia, Pavel Kozák, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Prague. During their visit to the University of South Bohemia, representatives from several faculties of our university discussed, for example, doctoral study programs with the Vietnamese partners, and there was also an offer for Czech students to teach the Czech language at Vietnamese universities.

The memorandum itself deepens the existing cooperation and specifies some of its areas of focus. The partners have primarily committed to collaborating in the fields of artificial intelligence, renewable energy, biotechnology, biomedicine, and sustainability. The rectors and other representatives of Czech and Vietnamese universities also confirmed their interest in joint research projects and in the exchange of students and researchers in the memorandum.
