Czech language courses for foreigners have launched

New Czech language courses for foreigners have launched at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia. Participants can look forward to five months of language acquisition and exploring Czech culture.

On October 5, 6, and 8, three new afternoon Czech language courses for foreigners were launched at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia, focusing on language proficiency at levels A1, A2, and B2. The courses take place in the Faculty’s classrooms from 4:20 PM to 7:35 PM. Around twenty participants—comprising university staff, students, and the general public—will complete a total of 80 hours of instruction over five months under the guidance of Faculty of Arts instructors; the curriculum focuses on phonetics, grammar, reading, and conversation, tailored to the participants' current proficiency levels. The instruction also incorporates an introduction to Czech culture. Some students have attended these courses previously and now wish to consolidate and further develop their skills.

The courses are offered twice a year, aiming to provide high-quality instruction at an affordable price.
