Cutting down the poplar alley

We would like to inform you about the reasons for cutting down the poplar alley. We have been addressing the poplar alley (meaning the poplar tree line from VTP to the fields) intensively since 2014. Large dry branches were already falling from the trees at that time, endangering people passing under the trees. At first, we dealt with it by pruning the dry branches twice a year. After several expert opinions and consultations with a representative from the Environmental Department of the City Administration, we decided to cut down the poplars and replace them with new plants. We have a felling permit and an entomological report for all the felling, which took place in three stages. The old poplars will be replaced by plane trees. We will do everything we can to ensure that we have a beautiful, majestic plane tree alley in the future.
Please find some of the expert opinions attached.

Thank you for your understanding.
