The former building of the science and technology park on Na Sádkách Street has a brand new interior and new residents to match. It now serves mainly computer scientists, who have complete facilities here, and teaching also takes place. In addition to walls, floors and ceilings, USB invested in complete electrical, water and ventilation systems.
Workers from SWIETELSKY stavební s.r.o., which was the main contractor, began transforming the building's interior in January 2025. They had a year to complete the work and finished a month ahead of schedule. The work was completed in early December 2025 and has now been officially approved. The transformation of the building's interior, which USB has newly designated with the letter I, cost 24 million crowns. The project was co-financed by the European Union from the OP JAK project (USB Development Project – ERDF Quality).
In addition to the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Science at USB, which occupies the ground floor and first floor of the building, the Investment Department and the Public Procurement Office of USB are located on the second floor.
