The Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia were visited by Mr. Phan Đạo, Director of the Vietnamese European Cooperation Centre. The joint meeting provided an opportunity to discuss possibilities for concrete cooperation in the fields of education, science, and academic mobility. The Faculty of Economics of USB focused on the partnership with Ton Duc Thang University, in particular on establishing joint research teams, cooperation in doctoral education, the preparation of academic publications and project proposals, and the development of research topics in the areas of sustainable development, innovation, and digital transformation. The Faculty of Education of USB discussed the possibilities of implementing Czech language teaching at the university in Hanoi and at the aforementioned centre, as well as the possibilities of methodological support for Czech language teaching at both institutions through specialized seminars.
The meeting built on existing partnership relations and opened up space for concrete steps toward further deepening Czech-Vietnamese academic cooperation.
