This call is incorporated into the MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 call. It is focused on AI in Science, including the development of innovative AI systems, models, tools, or methodologies, which must constitute an integral part of the proposed research.
How to apply within MSCA DN RAISE 2026?
- Submit a project proposal to the MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 call.
- When submitting the proposal, indicate your interest in participating in the RAISE call.
- Demonstrate that the proposal fulfils the “AI in Science” eligibility criteria.
- The proposal will be evaluated in accordance with the standard MSCA evaluation procedure.
RAISE DN proposals will be evaluated as part of the MSCA DN 2026 process. A cross-panel list of fundable proposals will be established using the highest-ranked proposals from the reserve list. This list will be ranked according to the MSCA evaluation scores and will include proposals whose combined requested budgets amount to approximately three times the available RAISE DN budget. Experts will also assess the relevance of each proposal to the RAISE topic. The final ranking will be determined by combining the MSCA evaluation score with the assessment of the proposal’s relevance to the RAISE scope.
