Rector's Cup Football Tournament

Yesterday's Sports Day at the stadium of the USB Faculty of Education Na Sádkách was perfect for all sports enthusiasts. Participants had the opportunity to engage in various sports activities, including floorball, volleyball, table tennis and badminton. Or, they could get right into the Rector's Cup football tournament, where all faculties had the chance to form their teams and showcase their sporting skills.

The Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Economics competed in the final of the football tournament. After a thrilling match, which was decided by penalties, the winner was the USB Faculty of Education. The third place went to the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences.

The winners were congratulated by the Dean of the USB Faculty of Education, doc. RNDr. Helena Koldová, Ph.D., and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, doc. RNDr. Zuzana Dvořáková Líšková, Ph.D.

The cup was presented on behalf of the Rector by Vice-Rector Pavel Král, PhD. The event was supported by Budějovický Budvar, n. p.
