BEFORE ARRIVAL

When the university confirms your application:

1) Check that you have all application documents. List of documents you can find here

2) Book  accommodation

If you want to book a place in the student dormitory, you can apply for it within the on-line application (your Erasmus+ coordinator will send you the instructions)

After that a place in the dormitory will be booked for you. In August you will recieve a confirmation from your Erasmus+ coordinator with more information, details for check-in and important contacts.

Usually, students check-in one week before the beginning of the semester (when attending the Czech language course) but if you want to arrive earlier you have to inform the direction of the student dormitory because some dorms are closed in the summer period.

3) Get your Visa (non-EU students)

4) Get a "buddy“. Our buddy students from the International Student Club will contact you about one month before your arrival and they are ready to help you with all arrangements before and after your arrival. Get more information about their services and contacts on their web page and FB.

ARRIVAL

Before the arrival contact your buddy and after your arrival they will help you to do the following steps:

1. WiFi connection (there is no free wifi connection in the campus, so students can not use it until they are registered so our buddies can provide you temporary log-in details)
2. Registration at your Faculty International office
3. If you are from a non EU country, your buddy can accompany you to do the registration at the Foreign police office
4. Open a bank account
5. Buy a Czech mobile phone number
6. Get  the university ID card or ISIC card
