Asia Exchange: Introducing brand new study destinations

This autumn there has been a lot going on in the study abroad front and we are happy to announce the most recent additions to our growing list of partner universities: Otemon Gakuin University in Osaka, Japan and Warmadewa University in Bali, Indonesia. The programs offered at these universities both start in April 2017 and the application periods are still running. If you have therefore only just woken up to the fact that you would like to study abroad next spring and found most of the deadlines already gone, worry not: you still have time to apply to either of these destinations!

Otemon Gakuin University

A study abroad semester in Japan is a life-long dream for many and the demand for Japanese exchange opportunities is constantly on the rise. Now it’s easier than ever to apply, as Asia Exchange begins a collaboration with Otemon Gakuin University in Osaka prefecture.

The University is located in Ibaraki city, a 15 minutes train ride from both Osaka and Kyoto. The interdisciplinary study program is taught in English, and it includes courses in Japanese language, culture, economy, literature and philosophy. We are now accepting applications for the very first round of the program until December 2nd, 2016.

The first semester runs from April to July, followed by a semester from September to January. We recommend you to be quick with your applications, as we can only fit a limited number of students in the first round.

Warmadewa University

The international BIPAS program of the Udayana University in Bali is one of our most popular programs. Our fresh partnership with Warmadewa University builds on the same proven foundation of internationality and interdisciplinarity. The Warmadewa International Program (WIP) introduces students to Indonesian language, culture, politics and history, in addition to providing courses in the high-demand topics of international business, management and environmental sustainability.

Compared to the BIPAS program, the WIP program begins later in the spring, which offers students interested in studying in Bali more room in choosing their ideal study abroad period. The application period is running until December 31st 2016, so there is still plenty of time to apply. For the very first summer semester in 2017 we offer a discount of 100 EUR on the tuition fee.

The study abroad programs have tuition fees and are meant for free mover students going on exchange to universities outside their home institutions’ study abroad options. The courses are held in English.
