On 13.1.2020, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Miloslav Stašek signed together with doc.Tomáš Machula, Ph.D., Th.D., the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Memorandum of mutual cooperation. Both partners are going to develop it in the field of international relations, education and research, and strengthening of professional knowledge and abilities of the students of the University of South Bohemia.
As a holder of the HR Award, the University of South Bohemia organized on 13.11.2019 an awareness-raising workshop at the Clarion Congress Hotel in České Budějovice. Among the participants of the workshop were representatives of institutions interested in HR Award and foreign guests from an Austrian and Norwegian university. The aim was to share their experience about how to take an advantage of such a great opportunity.
The Open Days 2020 at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice took place on Friday 17.1. 2020 from 3 p.m. It is considered to be one of the biggest and most often frequented events at USB, visited especially by potential future students.
The Lab of Proteomics of the Faculty of Science USB has been equipped with a unique mass spectrometer tims-TOF (producer Bruker Daltonics). Tims-TOF belongs to mass spectrometers with high resolution and uses technologies different from other types of similar appliances.
