USB hosts colleagues from foreign universities

On Monday, November 28, 2016 University of South Bohemia launched the so-called International Week.

The aim of this week-long gathering is to facilitate an exchange of experience of the staff from the University of South Bohemia with the colleagues from foreign universities, to expand existing international cooperation and also to establish new contacts.

Within this 4th International Week 33 representatives from 21 foreign universities have come together from many European countries, for example from Poland, Greece, France, Great Britain, Germany, Portugal, Estonia etc. The programme has been organized by the International Office of USB in the framework of the Erasmus+ project.

After their arrivals on Monday the participants visited the historical centre of České Budějovice and the Christmas Market, on Tuesday they were welcomed by the university representatives and the International Office presented them the University of South Bohemia and its faculties. On Wednesday and Thursday the foreign colleagues will present their universities to interested persons from USB. Everybody is cordially invited (the invitation you can find here).

USB also prepared a culture programme for its foreign visitors – they will visit Český Krumlov and will have an excursion in Budvar brewery.
