On Tuesday, April 26, Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Machula, Ph.D., Th.D., introduced to the Academic Senate of the university the names of the four Vice-Rectors, who will be appointed with effect from May 1 2016.
The new Vice-Rectors are:
PaedDr. Petr Bauman, Ph.D.
Vice-rector for Studies
Before the nomination for the position of Vice-Rector, he held the position of the Vice-Dean for Studies and Teaching at the Faculty of Theology.
At the same time, he works at the Department of Education at the Faculty of Theology.
Prof. RNDr. Tomáš Polívka, Ph.D.
Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Deputy of the Rector
He held the position of the Vice-Rector for Science and Research during the term of Prof. Libor Grubhoffer and Prof. Magdalena Hrabánková.
At the same time, he works as the Deputy of the Head of the Institute of Physics and Biophysics, Faculty of Science.
Assoc. Prof. PaedDr. Radka Závodská, Ph.D.
Vice-Rector for International Relations
Before the nomination for the position of the Vice-Rector, she held the position of the Vice-Dean for Science, Creative Activity and Foreign Relations at the Faculty of Education.
At the same time, she works at the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Education.
Prof. PhDr. Bohumil Jiroušek, Dr.
Vice-Rector for Development and Internal Evaluation
Before the nomination for the position of the Vice-rector, he held the position of the Vice-Dean for Science and Research of the Faculty of Philosophy.
At the same time, he works as the Deputy of the Head of the Institute of cultural studies at the Faculty of Philosophy.
