New system of preventive COVID-19 testing of students

Dear colleagues and students,

given the implementation of the obligation of student testing introduced by the extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, the following system of testing has been implemented at the University of South Bohemia.

  1. The Faculty of Science arranges the testing of its students.
  2. The central testing system using POC antigen tests to ascertain the presence of the antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus performed by the provider of medical services is available to all USB students (see below).
  3. Antigen tests to ascertain the presence of the antigen of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that are intended for self-testing will be available at faculties and at accommodation facilities of USB as the back-up solution in substantiated cases. Information on this possible way of testing will be provided to students by faculties and D&R.
