European Symposion on Spirituality, Ethics and Social Work

Friday 26 February 2021 09:00 AM

The European Symposion on Spirituality, Ethics and Social Work will take place on February 26, 2021, at 9:00. The Symposion is organised in the context of the international project Erasmus+, the main executor of which is Associate Professor Michal Opatrný, the Vice-Dean for Research of the FT USB.

In its holistic vision, social work responds not only to biological, psychological and social needs but also to other dimensions such as the cultural and spiritual dimensions. Organisers of the Symposion wish to propose an opening of a space in the European context for a dialogue about experiences and propose some reflections on the connections between social work, spirituality and ethics. You are cordially invited to enter the dialogue even for just a day and undertake a journey through these lands for the benefit of those who suffer, seek, want to be heard, understood and accompanied.

The conference will take place online.

English is the language of the conference, but a Czech session where people from the FT USB would like to meet practitioners who are interested in the topic in order to discuss it with them.

Further information and the programme of the conference may be found on the website of the event: LINK.
