Summer School of Slavonic Studies 2020

The Summer School of Slavonic Studies is hosted by the Department of Czech Studies of the Faculty of Arts, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice from 16th August till 7th September 2020.


The Summer School of Slavonic Studies is hosted by the Department of Czech Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, in a three-week period between late August and mid-September. The courses are designed for international students, professionals (teachers, interpreters) and academic staff members in the field of Czech Studies and Slavic Studies who are over 18 years of age. However, the wide scope of the courses offers something for all those interested in the Czech language, literature, history and culture. Applicants can apply as self-payers, paying all the costs themselves or for scholarships that are only awarded to candidates nominated by the competent authorities of the contracted partner countries or embassies of the Czech Republic.

This year, the Summer school will be held from 16th August till 7th September, 2020 with the opening ceremony on Monday 17th August 2020 at the Faculty of Arts. 

SSSS graduates will receive a certificate of attendance and a report card.
