Presentation: Chris Steer

Chris Steer, originally from the UK, is an English language teacher who has now lived half his life in Czechia. Since seeing an Australian aborigine make a traditional boomerang on TV as a child, he has been particularly interested in handicrafts, primitive technology, and survival.

The session will take the form of an interactive conversation about wilderness survival theory along the lines of the party game “what would you take with you to survive on a desert island?” Only this time it will be a cold, snowy desert island with no coconuts .
