- The International Student Club of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is a non - profit and volunteer student organisation established in June 2007 in order to help Erasmus and other exchange students coming to study at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The club organises many activities for the exchange students within an academic year. Their main aim is to promote better involvement of the exchange students in Czech student society and the local cultural life. Their basic activity is especially the mentor-programme. Mentors (recruited from home students) help international students with organisational matters and all the paper work. Students also offer leisure activities in and around České Budějovice. Mentor programme: Mentors recruited from home students will and want to help exchange students from the time they first arrive to the end of the exchange programme. Mentor will: Contact exchange student by e-mail (about 4 weeks before the term starts). Pick the student up at the airport, train or bus station and help him/her with the accomodation at the dormitory. Show him/her the university campus, faculty, library and office of Club for International Students.
