General registration procedures
The admission procedure varies according to the below mentioned groups of students:
- Study in Czech language
- Study in foreign languages
- Incoming LLP/Erasmus and international students
o University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is involved in a variety of different kinds of exchange agreements that enable international students to come to České Budějovice for one or two semesters. Those exchange students should come from a higher education institution with which the USB has an exchange egreement (e. g. Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, etc.).
o Application form for exchange students is available online (http://www.jcu.cz/international-relations); this application form is open once every academic semester. Information about the application form and some important information and advice is sent in advance to all partner institutions with which the USB has an exchange agrément. Completed application forms are then printed out and signed by both the applicant and his/her home institution and should be sent to the admission office at USB with all the required documents by the application deadline. In every exchange programme or agrément, different supporting documents are required according to the regulations of the programme or agrément in question, by filling in the online application form, applicants will be able to see the list of supporting documents he/she are asked for assuming that he/she chosen the correct programme or agreement as the first step of filling in the online application form (e. g. learning agreement in the case of LLP/Erasmus… etc.).
In the case of Erasmus and other EU programmes, selection of courses a student is planning to attend must be agreed upon by the student, the home institution and USB in the form of a signed learning agreement that must be approved upon advance (before the student´s arrival).
