The offer of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in relation to the expression of solidarity with Belarusian higher education institutions and support of their students

The University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice will open selected degree programmes for Belarusian students who meet admission conditions. Accepted applicants will receive a scholarship in support of their studies and accommodation in České Budějovice.

Individual faculties will announce an admission procedure during autumn 2020 including a flexible acceptance and enrolment as applicants manage to provide required documents (visas) for the entry to the Czech Republic. Faculties will inform relevant higher education institutions in Belarus about individual admission procedures and information will be published on the website of the University of South Bohemia and its individual constituent parts.

Most faculties of the University of South Bohemia have made their support of Belarusian students clear, in particular the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Agriculture, which offer a greater number of foreign language degree programmes.

The University of South Bohemia is also addressing the economic situation of current students from Belarus and offered a motivational stay for their students at the beginning of 2021 to the Gomel State University (Francisk Skorina Gomel State University) with which it has a valid co-operation agreement.
